Her books are discussed from the context of gender studies, art, myth, and ecocritical literature. She is currently working with Pan Macmillan on the five-book Sati series - a retelling of the stories of the Pancha Kanya from Indian mythology - Ahalya and Kunti are on the shelves. Being an experienced writer she shared her journey from writing her first book to writing a series of books on Indian Mythology regarding what goes into the marketing process from the author's side, and what type of publishing house should be approached according to the type of book.
